Postal Service Disruption Contingency Plan
To avoid delays in submitting and receiving correspondence during the postal service disruption, WCAT encourages parties to use the following services.
To start an appeal, complete an online form or refer to the notice to start an appeal.
To receive and submit documents about the appeal, sign up to use WCAT’s Online Services. By using WCAT Online Services, you can:
- Find important dates, recent documents, or submissions and evidence from others involved in the appeal
- Get notified by email when there is new information about the appeal
- Submit evidence or information for an appeal

If you’re not able to use WCAT Online Services, send your information by:

To Check the status of an appeal, you can use WCAT Online Services to get information about the appeals that you’re involved in or visit Check on an Appeal page.
To get a copy of your decision, you can use WCAT Online Services or visit WCAT’s Decision Search page. Alternatively, if you are a worker, you can access your decision through WorkSafeBC’s worker portal.
Service of Court Documents
WCAT accept service of court documents by email at appeals@wcat.bc.ca. Service of court documents may also be serviced in person or by courier.
